CONVERSATIONS WITH THE OLIFAUNT

Regarding my Red Ceilings Press ebook, Olifaunt:

“Just like ‘Olifaunt’ is the incorrect spelling of ‘elephant’ in a modern view, all of the poems in this collection are not written in proper English…. The formatting of these poems amuses me, as several of them look as though they were once a part of the script of a computer program. This association helps me ignore my usual dislike for somewhat illogical poems since programming languages are by no means logical to read.” —from a student review of Olifaunt

The Olifaunt responds:

“Incorrect spelling is Just like the of ‘elephant’. In all computer of the poems written in once a part this not collection proper are English. Though they the formatting of in these them poems amuses as several of me, look as by no means of were the script a program of. This ‘Olifaunt’ helps me usual ignore my association dislike for a somewhat modern view, illogical since poems read programming to languages are logical.” —from a Olifaunt student of review

LET’S GET TOGETHER &KILL THIS THING

HEY! DON’T START YOUR WEEKEND WITHOUT ME

Connotation Press was kind enough to publish 3 stories and an interview with me. Meg Tuite and I talked about process, electricity, Keith Richards, and the subversive nature of the prose poem. Also this month, you’ll find other great writers like Paul Scot August and Ryan W. Bradley, so check it out! Thanks, Meg and Ken! see: CONNOTATION PRESS

Short, Fast & Deadly has released another fantastic issue as well, which happens to include my poem, #14. Thanks for including me, Joseph! see: SHORT, FAST & DEADLY

Last but not least, Red Ceilings Press has posted 3 poems inspired by a call from Mark Cobley for work regarding “the edge of a sneeze.” Thanks, Mark! see: RED CEILINGS PRESS

Olifaunt chapbook available on Red Ceilings Press

My new chapbook, “Olifaunt,” is available for free through Red Ceilings Press (viewed on ISSUU or downloaded as a PDF). I’m thrilled with the way this chapbook has turned out, and I am honored to be in the company of such distinguished authors. Please take the time to look through the many brilliant works Red Ceilings Press has to offer; order their print titles! My sincere gratitude to Mark Cobley for allowing my work to part of the Red Ceilings family. Thanks, Mark!
